Seeking to Grow in Christ Together:

Welcoming, Loving, Serving in Christ’s Name

If the center of our congregation’s life is the weekly gathering for worship, at the very heart of our life as disciples of Jesus is service to others. We believe that God calls us as a congregation to use our time, talents and financial resources to care for God’s people and God’s earth in ways that mirror life in the kingdom of God. Whether we serve in quiet ways one on one, or in more public ways in the community and the world, God is honored where we learn to love our neighbors as ourselves.

A highlight in the mission of the church was the completion in 2019 of a Habitat House built with other Presbyterian Churches in Stanly County. We are also pleased to host the YMCA Summer Camp in Norwood. We also help to support Sharon Bryant, a PC(USA) Mission Co-Worker in Thailand.
